The Werner Quartet resides in Montana when they are not somewhere else! Young musicians Andree, Mariel, Lucien, and Helene Werner are siblings in the Werner Quartet and are often traveling around the globe making music.

Each member of the quartet has had the privilege of studying music with cellist Richard Aaron, and during the summer of 2011, Helene, Lucien, and Mariel will begin cello study with Hans Jensen. Each member of the quartet studies piano with pianist Brian Johnson, and is a distinguished participant in the Royal Conservatory of Music's piano program. The quartet has had private audiences with renowned cellists, Laszlo Varga, Michel Strauss of the Paris Conservatory, and Bernard Greenhouse. They have been enthusiastically received at Montana State University's Guest Artist and President's Fine Arts Series, by the Music Guild Series in Los Angeles, on National Public Radio's highly acclaimed program "From the Top," and as soloists with the Bozeman, Billings, and Great Falls Symphony Orchestras. During the summers, the quartet studies and performs at festivals abroad, including Peter de Grote Festival, La Ferme de Villefavard, and the Congress de Luthiers in France.

When the Werner Quartet is at home, you can find them putting their musical talents to work for good causes. They are known to many in and around Montana for their contributions to important community organizations, including the Rescue Mission for the Homeless and the Wyoming Girls School. They share their music in support of the arts and education, and especially for organizations that encourage opportunities for young musicians.
